This Sunday there is another chance to see Capernaum as part of the Kay Mellor Presents season of films. So we thought we’d reshare Bill’s post about the film from the original release earlier in the year.
The Kay Mellor season continues on Sunday 22nd December with Some Like It Hot.

The Kay Mellor Season is her pick of favorite films. She is an actress and writer/director for television and now theatre; her only film is [I believe] ‘Fanny and Elvis’ (1999) a comedy set in Yorkshire.

She wrote and co-directed (with Antonia Bird) A Passionate Woman in 2010. It was made for TV and shown originally shown in 2 parts but was also screened as a 90 minute feature at places such as Keswick Film Festival. The Picture House was used as a filming location.
